Private and Semi-Private Sessions

Introduction to Pilates:

3 private, 50-minute introductory sessions.

This trio of classes introduces first time clients to the art of Pilates. Build core strength and learn the beginning moves you'll need to master this timeless fitness method.

Private Session:

Experience personal one-on-one Pilates training with our certified instructors. Private classes are ideal for clients who are looking to get the most out of each session. P/oP trainers can customize workout programs, help set goals and provide needed motivation.

Duet Session (Limit 2):

These sessions are perfect for couples and workout buddies who are comfortable together and want to do their Pilates at the same time. Don’t have an exercise partner? No problem. P/oP can find a training companion for you.

Trio Session (Limit 3):

Join up with three people for a fun and affordable way to experience Pilates. Every workout session is tailored to each individuals’ level within the group.

Semi-Private Session (Limit 4):

These classes are led by P/oP founder Maria Jimenez-Tierney, and specifically designed for anyone who has been doing Pilates on an ongoing basis for more than 5 years, understands the flow, and can easily keep up and work independently.

Pilates Group Classes

All reformer and most group classes are for experienced clients. A beginners reformer class OR the “Introduction to Pilates” private package are prerequisites for our reformer and group classes.

If you are new to our studio, we ask that you get in touch with your instructor prior to signing up for a reformer class.

Mat Class

Pilates mat work is often considered the basic principle of the Pilates Method. 

Mat classes at Pilates of Pasadena (P/oP) utilize traditional Pilates exercises and repertoire while adding props, or a specific body challenge, for that day’s session. As a result no two classes are ever the same. All sessions are held in a lighthearted and fun environment.

Our mat classes are taught by Mirko in a virtual format on Zoom Tuesdays at 9:30 am.

Mirko’s In-person mat classes are once a month on a Sunday. Please sign up for our newsletter for the Mat class date announcements. Class size is very limited. Don't miss out on these monthly opportunities.

Reformer Class

The Reformer machine is the most popular and best known of all the Pilates apparatus. As part of the Pilates repertoire, the exercises are designed to work the entire musculature during the hour session. Using the power of springs to provide resistance training, this device helps develop core strength, postural alignment, coordination and muscular power. 

All Pilates exercises have multiple modifications that can be customized to an individual’s strengths, as well as limitations. 

Limited to five people, P/oP Reformer classes remain intimate sessions, which allows for a safe and personalized class.

Reformer Class Times:

Mondays at 6:00pm with Mirko and 7:00 pm with Kiana

Wednesdays at 6:00pm and 7:00pm with Cheysa

Thursdays at 6:00 pm with Mirko

Fridays at 4:30pm with Cheysa
